Welcome to the website of Lincoln Bailgate u3a which was created in 2013 primarily to serve the residents of central and uphill Lincoln. However, we welcome new members wherever they live. Most of our members are no longer in full time employment and enjoy the opportunities we provide to socialise and to keep mentally and physically active.
Are you looking for an interest group we don’t have? The Third Age Trust offer a range of interest groups online open to all members. Have a look and see if anything takes your fancy! There are also a range of online events and study sessions that might also be of interest.
U3A online Women’s History study day March 2026
This was a first attempt to by the U3A to run an online study day featuring speakers who were all U3A members. Gill Datta has written an excellent summary of the day.
We have a lot of members who support Lincoln City FC many of whom are season ticket holders. Lincoln Bailgate u3a congratulates the club for its remarkable success as well as recognising its vital positive contribution to the life of our city
